Aileen is a litigator with the firm of Boone & Stone and a Fulton County Magistrate Judge in Atlanta, Georgia.  Aileen is also a Mediator, credentialed and registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.

In her twelfth year of law practice, Aileen has litigated cases throughout Georgia, as well as in state and federal courts across the United States.

In 2005, Aileen was selected from among thousands of trial lawyer applicants to compete in the NBC/David E. Kelly legal reality television show, “The Law Firm”. The attorneys tried real cases against one another before California judges and juries, and were required to prepare and try each case within 48 - 72 hours of receiving the case file. All aspects of preparation and trial were filmed. Competitors were evaluated, critiqued and eliminated from the competition by host and prominent Florida attorney, Roy Black. Aileen was the only woman in the final six, finished in the top three, and achieved the best win-loss ratio of all the competitors. At the conclusion of the competition, Mr. Black stated that there were two attorneys he would want to hire, one of whom was Aileen. In connection with the show, she was personally featured in the Los Angeles Times, USA today, the Fulton County Daily Report, and other publications.

For the first several years of her practice, Aileen served as an Assistant District Attorney in metropolitan Atlanta, trying and winning serious felony jury cases. She was honored to be appointed to the Special Prosecutions Unit dedicated to prosecuting crimes against children, which she did - undefeated.

Aileen began her civil practice representing the world’s largest retail corporation in litigation throughout Georgia. She then served as Managing Attorney for the Atlanta office of a national firm involved in litigation across the United States before joining her current firm, where she practices complex litigation in state and federal courts in various jurisdictions.

Aileen won the award for Best Orator in Georgia State University College of Law’s 1996 Appellate Advocacy Competition. In appreciation of the invaluable training she received during law school through competing in both moot court and mock trial programs, she has volunteered to coach and judge high school and law school competitions.

Aileen is a volunteer for Dress for Success Atlanta, a non-profit organization which assists women in their efforts to become self-sufficient by entering the workforce.

Born in New York City, Aileen lived in Toronto, Canada before moving to Atlanta. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Toronto, and her law degree from Georgia State University. Aileen is a member of the American Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
